Welcome to Reid Street Primary School.

Opened in 1912, the school has undergone many changes over the years, including making the choice to convert to an academy in July 2011.

Inside our lovely old building you will find a bright, friendly environment in which our 420 pupils are cared for, supported and challenged to achieve their very best.

Our creative curriculum is engaging and motivating and our focus on the teaching of basic skills embedded throughout.

We maintain high standards of behaviour and are proud of our school and our pupils.

Mrs P. Ayto,

Principal.

“Aiming to ensure that the children in our care achieve to their full

potential, as individuals, within the caring ethos of our school.”
