This forms part of our new homework policy and is also part of our thinking when planning each curriculum topic.
As we do not have extensive grounds of our own, we have to be creative in sourcing opportunities for our pupils to experience outdoor learning activities. This year, we provided our Year 5s with the chance to go to Marchbank Free School to take part in fun challenges aimed at developing a wide range of skills including team work, risk analysis, problem solving and physical strength and dexterity.
