School Mental Health Award
We were so proud to have achieved, accredited by Leeds Beckett University and the Schools Advisory Service,
this award for all of the support we have in place for pupils, parents and staff at Reid Street.
Emotional Literacy Support Assistants
We have trained Emotional Literacy Support Assistants in school who do lots to help those who may be struggling.
School Games Award
After 5 years of consistently achieving the Gold School Games Award,
we were delighted to achieve the next level Platinum Award in 2025.

We were so proud to have achieved the Green Flag Award with Distinction on our first time of trying.

We value the role of singing across all areas of the curriculum and have achieved the prestigious
Sing Up Gold Award as part of our continued drive to enhance our creative curriculum.
Best Asthma Friendly School
We were the first school in Darlington to receive the Asthma Accreditation for our work supporting pupils.
Food for Life Bronze Award
We are pleased and proud of all of the hard work around healthy
eating in school that earned us the bronze food award.
PSHE Quality Mark
We work hard to support our pupils to be as physically and mentally healthy as possible and to support them to be active citizens who make a positive difference.
