We were so proud to have achieved, accredited by Leeds Beckett University and the Schools Advisory Service,
this award for all of the support we have in place for pupils, parents and staff at Reid Street.
Emotional Literacy Support Assistants
We have trained Emotional Literacy Support Assistants in school who do lots to help those who may be struggling.
School Games Award
Having consistently demonstrated the quantity and quality of provision for PE, sport and activity
at Reid Street we are very proud to have achieved the gold award for 5 years in a row.

We value the role of singing across all areas of the curriculum and have achieved the prestigious
Sing Up Gold Award as part of our continued drive to enhance our creative curriculum.
NQT Quality Mark
We received this accreditation in light of our high quality support for Newly Qualified Teachers.
We have in place excellent support for those new to the profession – now known as Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Primary Quality Mark
For over fifteen years, we have achieved and maintained the quality mark for English
and Maths in recognition of the excellent work undertaken in these core subjects.
Best Asthma Friendly School
We were the first school in Darlington to receive the Asthma Accreditation for our work supporting pupils.
