As well as their study of the Spanish language, pupils are also able to explore elements of Spanish (and in Y6, French) culture. This includes learning about food, dress, traditions, music and more. Geography Mapping Days, Class Countries and International Day all provide opportunities to learn about and understand cultures very different from our own.
As part of our curriculum enrichment, pupils in Year 1 and 2 are able to access an after-school Spanish club in which language and culture are explored in creative, fun ways.
