What are the Global Goals?
Embedded within our curriculum, are the international ‘Global Goals for Sustainable Development.’ These goals allow pupils the opportunity to get a better understanding of their own role and the roles of others in influencing the environment, sustainability in the future and fundamental equalities. Through ‘Global Goals’ learning experiences we enable pupils to have a greater awareness of local, national and global issues. This makes historical content relevant for the children, creating purpose for the learning and a meaningful way in which to apply the knowledge.
